  I can not stress enough not to use this company at any of it's locations. My fathers funeral was an embarrassment and debacle from start to finish. The first obituary had four important mistakes listed. His sister listed as a granddaughter, names misspelled, no religious affiliation or church membership, an no mention of his great grandsons. After calling and flipping out it was corrected but the Harold had the audacity to charge another $54 to have it rerun with corrections. The day of the funeral was calling for severe rain and Harold asked us if we wanted one or two canopies. He assured us that each canopy held 45 people. Well in torrential rain we had a canopy with four folding chairs that we had to request to have dried off and enough room for ten more people that still got their backs soaked. There were people at my Mothers house after the funeral actually removing their shoes and socks since they were so drenched. My poor Mother should not have to apologize for my Fathers funeral. When they brought out the glass case holding my fathers ashes they perched it on a pedestal is you want to call it that, and afterwards everyone said they held their breath that it would not fall over. It was some sort of thing draped with red cloth, not leveled and wobbly. They did not level off the ground. Once again embarrassing. Lastly Pennsylvania State Law requires a itemized bill be given before any services are done. My Mother was handed this bill in a tacky Schisler tote bag at the grave site. Classy??? As I said before if you want to honor your loved one do not use this facility. No apologies were ever given and Harold Schisler is the king of pointing the finger at anyone that himself. The newspaper, the cemetery etc. Is it not his job to make sure all this is correct???? The only reason I gave one star is at least my Father is buried. Rest in Peace Dad. We did the best we could to honor you, but chose the wrong funeral home. Karol Keeney
